Terms of service
Last updated 7 September 2026. Plain language on purpose; the plain meaning is what we intend.
1. Who and what
Fifteen Hands (“the service”, “we”) is a web application operated by the people named in the footer. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you are creating a business for a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 16 and give us a real email address. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in; keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. One account can belong to several businesses.
3. The free trial
Every new business gets 14 days free with everything included. No payment details are needed to start. You may subscribe during the trial; the first payment is then taken on the day the trial ends, and you can cancel before that day at no cost. If you have not subscribed, nothing is charged when the trial ends and the business becomes read-only: you and your team can still see and export everything, but not add to it, until a plan is chosen. Nothing is deleted at that point; see the privacy policy for how long we keep data.
4. Plans and payment
- Monthly: $45 per month. Annual: $385 per year. Prices are in US dollars, per business, and include up to 2 people. Each further person in the business adds $15 per month, or $130 per year on the annual plan, from the next billing period after they join. Taxes are added where the law requires.
- Subscriptions renew at the end of each period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription or by writing to hello@fifteenhands.com; the business stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms; your card details are entered on Stripe's pages and we never see your full card number. If a renewal payment fails we and Stripe will tell you and retry; the business keeps working for 7 days while that happens, then becomes read-only until it is paid.
- If we change prices we will tell you at least 30 days in advance; a change applies from your next renewal.
- Refunds: the trial is there so you can decide first. If something is wrong during the first month of a paid plan, write to us and we will make it right. Otherwise partial periods are not refunded, except where the law says they must be.
5. Your content
Everything you put into Fifteen Hands stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, show it to the people in your business, send the relevant parts to the AI provider to produce replies, and keep backups. We don't use your content to advertise, and we don't train models on it.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for not putting in anything illegal, harmful or that infringes someone else's rights.
6. The AI specialists
Replies from the specialists are generated by AI models and can be wrong, out of date or inappropriate for your situation. They are suggestions, not professional advice: nothing a specialist says is legal, tax, financial, medical or other regulated advice. Check anything that matters before acting on it, and take real questions to a qualified professional. You are responsible for what you do with the output.
AI usage is included in the price under fair use: normal daily use by two people. If a business's use is far outside that (for example, automated or bulk requests), we will talk to you before limiting it.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, to harass anyone, to send spam, to probe or overload our systems, or to resell it. Don't try to access another business's data. We may suspend an account that does any of this, and we'll tell you why.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep Fifteen Hands running all the time and back it up daily, but we are a very small team and cannot promise uninterrupted service. We will announce planned maintenance where we can. Support is by email at hello@fifteenhands.com; we answer as quickly as two people can.
9. Ending things
You can leave any time: cancel by email and ask us to delete the business, or delete your account. We will remove your data as described in the privacy policy. We may end the service or your account with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms; in the first case you can export your data before we do.
10. Liability
Fifteen Hands is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost data you didn't back up, business interruption), and our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intent.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters we will tell you inside the app at least 14 days before it applies. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change. If you don't, cancel before it applies and we'll refund any unused part of a prepaid period.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator is established. Nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
